The General Terms and Conditions are drawn up in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, the Personal Data Protection Act and the Electronic Communications Act.
The operator of the online shop of the Kranj Institute for Tourism and Culture (hereinafter referred to as “the online shop”), as well as the entire content thereof, is the company of the Kranj Institute for Tourism and Culture (hereinafter referred to as “the provider”).
You can buy items in the online shop by registering or as a guest, i.e. without registering.
The Buyer is bound by the General Terms and Conditions in force at the time of purchase (i.e. placing an online order). The Provider reserves the right to make any changes and/or amendments to the General Terms and Conditions without special notice. Changes or amendments shall be effective from the moment of publication and shall be binding on the Buyer.
The online shop is open every day, 24 hours a day, and orders are processed on working days. For various technical reasons, it is sometimes not possible to operate or even access the online shop. Therefore, the Provider reserves the right to restrict or suspend the sale of some or even all products for a limited or indefinite period of time, or to restrict or suspend access to the Online Shop for a limited or indefinite period of time. The Provider shall not be held liable for the non-operation of the shop due to the user’s or customer’s ignorance of the use, any consequences of misuse of the online shop, the non-operation of the service due to network failure, power failure or other technical malfunctions outside the Provider’s sphere which may interfere with the use, either temporarily or for a longer period of time.
By subscribing to the newsletter, the visitor or user agrees to the provider including his/her email address in the list of recipients of the free newsletter, from which he/she may voluntarily unsubscribe at any time.
The company is the owner of all images on this website or has permission to use them from the owners. Any further use of the images, logos or trademarks without the written permission of the owners is prohibited and constitutes a violation of copyright and trademark law.
2. ACCESSIBILITY OF INFORMATION
The supplier undertakes to provide the following information to the buyer before being bound by the contract or the offer:
- Information about the company Kranj Institute for Tourism and Culture (company name, registered office, registration and tax number),
- Contact details (contact telephone number and email address) to enable the customer to communicate quickly and efficiently with the supplier,
- Essential characteristics of the items (all information is for information purposes only),
- Availability of items from the online shop
- Method and conditions of delivery of products
- Product prices which clearly show whether they include taxes, delivery and other charges or fulfilment costs
- The period within which the contract may be withdrawn and the conditions for withdrawal
- How to return the products and the costs that may be charged to the buyer
- Customer complaint/complaint procedure
3. PRODUCT RANGE AND PRICES
Due to the nature of doing business online, the product range in the online shop can change and be updated frequently and quickly. It may happen that the price information is incorrect. In this case, or in the event that the price of the item changes during the processing of the order, the provider will allow the customer to withdraw from the purchase. The provider reserves the right to make changes to the content of the website as well as to the general terms and conditions.
Online prices are valid for customers of the provider’s online shop. All prices are quoted in euros (EUR) and include VAT. Prices do not include delivery charges (which are defined in point 6.) and apply exclusively to electronic orders placed via the online shop.
Prices are valid at the time the order is placed and have no pre-set validity period. From the time the order is placed onwards, all prices and other terms and conditions are fixed and apply to both the supplier and the buyer. Prices shall remain valid until changed from time to time. The Provider reserves the right to change them without prior notice.
Discounts, promotional codes, etc. are generally not cumulative.
4. PURCHASE PROCEDURE
The following technical steps are available to the user/buyer during the purchase process:
- Search for a specific product
- Selecting a product to buy
- Determining the quantity of products to buy in your shopping basket
- View the final price of the selected product in the selected quantity
- Redeem promotional discount code
- Order confirmation
- Placing an order (The user/buyer can place an order as a guest or as a registered user).
After placing an order, the user becomes a customer and receives an email from the provider informing him that the order has been accepted. The provider checks the order, verifies the deliverability of the ordered items and executes the order or rejects it with a justified reason. The Provider may call the User on the contact telephone number or write to the e-mail address provided to verify the information or to ensure the accuracy of the delivery.
The supplier shall prepare, dispatch and notify the buyer by e-mail within two working days at the latest. In the case of payment by invoice, the time limit for dispatch shall start when the payment is credited to the transaction account. In the event of force majeure preventing dispatch within the agreed time limit, the Supplier shall immediately inform the Buyer thereof.
By logging in to the online shop, the customer agrees to the use of personal data for the successful conclusion and performance of the contract (invoicing, delivery, etc.).
The Supplier reserves the right to cancel an order if the amount is not settled within 5 working days (valid for payment by invoice).
The provider shall issue an invoice in physical or electronic form to the customer for the products ordered from the online shop. The invoice shall be sent to the customer’s e-mail address. The invoice shall indicate the price with an itemised cost. The Buyer is obliged to verify the correctness of the information before placing the order. The supplier is not obliged to take account of any irregularities subsequently discovered in connection with the invoice.
The contract between the provider and the buyer is concluded in Slovenian and stored electronically on the provider’s server.It shall be accessible to the Buyer at all times in his/her user account.
5. PROMOTIONAL CODES AND OTHER BENEFITS
The promotional code brings the customer various benefits such as gifts, discounts or free postage. The promotional code is valid exclusively for online purchases in the online shop. The promotional code can be found on the website, newsletters or other advertising portals of the provider or its partners.

Only one promotional code can be used per purchase. Promotional codes and product discounts are not cumulative.
The promotional code is used by entering it in the specially marked box in the shopping basket before the customer completes the order. The code is confirmed by clicking on the “CONFIRM” box, whereby the value of the discount is automatically deducted from the value of the order. The remaining amount represents the value of the order to be settled.
6. DELIVERY DATE AND DELIVERY OR. PERSONAL COLLECTION
The dispatch time for ordered products that are in stock is two working days for delivery addresses in the Republic of Slovenia. In the case of payment by invoice, the tenderer reserves the right to dispatch the ordered products upon receipt of the funds. Delivery shall be made on the next working day following dispatch. In the event of complications in the transit process, the fault shall not lie with the tenderer.
The contractual partner for the delivery of the consignments is Pošta Slovenije d.o.o. The Tenderer reserves the right to choose another delivery service if this will enable the Tenderer to fulfil the order more efficiently. The delivery charge for orders with a product value of less than EUR 45 is: EUR 3,50.
For orders with a value of more than €45, postage is free.
Deliveries are made during the week, from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday deliveries are not possible.
If you choose to collect in person, you can pay by pre-invoice or credit card. Payment on site (ZTKK, Glavni trg 2, 4000 Kranj) is not possible.
The products can be collected at the Institute of Tourism and Culture Kranj, Glavni trg 2, 4000 Kranj, every weekday from 9 am to 6 pm . When your order is ready for collection, you will receive a notification with a possible collection time and a contact telephone number. Before collecting in person, it is advisable to call 040 664 015 or 04 238 04 50 or email email@example.com.
7. PAYMENT METHODS
In the online shop, the provider offers the following payment methods:
- Payment by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Payment by invoice

All products are carefully inspected and undamaged before dispatch, but there is still a possibility of defects or irregularities. If the Buyer wishes to make a claim, he is obliged to inspect the Products immediately upon receipt. The Buyer must be alert to any signs of previous unauthorised opening or damage to the package.
The Supplier reserves the right to reject a claim in the event that the unusability of the products is due to the Buyer’s misconduct.

9. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The Buyer has the right to notify the Supplier clearly and unequivocally by email to email@example.com within 14 days of purchase that he/she is withdrawing from the contract, without having to give a reason for his/her decision.
- Name and surname,
- internal order number,
- a clear and unambiguous statement of withdrawal.
The buyer must return the products to the headquarters of the provider, the Institute for Tourism and Culture Kranj, Glavni trg 2, 4000 Kranj, marked ”online shop”, within 14 days of the date of the notice of withdrawal from the contract. The Buyer shall bear the costs of returning the goods in connection with the withdrawal from the contract.
The goods must be undamaged, unopened and in the same quantity, unless the goods are destroyed, spoiled, lost or reduced in quantity without any fault on the part of the Buyer. When returning products on which a promotional code has been redeemed, these funds shall be taken into account as a discount and shall not be refunded on return. The amount paid shall be refunded to the customer’s TRR within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation notice. The Provider may withhold the reimbursement of the payment received until receipt of the returned goods.
10. DATA PROTECTION
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, the Provider is obliged to protect the personal data of its users and uses it only for its own purposes. By using our online shop, you agree to our terms and conditions.
The Terms and Conditions are valid from 01.6.2021 until revoked.
